After four years of blogging and DIYing, it’s safe to say I’ve certainly learnt a lot and come a long way in that time! I originally just started this blog as a way to document the journey of our home renovation and from there, it accidentally developed into a place to share and help others too. Now, a top ranking DIY and home renovation blog in the UK, this blog receives thousands of views daily and is helping and inspiring others to turn to DIY too.
With house prices rapidly rising, more and more people are turning to buy unloved run-down homes to make their own. It means DIY is on the increase and in particular from novices with little to no prior experience. Having first bought a house at 20 with no money to spare, I know exactly the kind of journey and work it takes to learn how to DIY from scratch.
With this blog, I hope to give confidence to readers with advice and how-tos, so that they too can tackle a job themselves. I feature all aspects of DIY and home renovating along with budget-friendly interior ideas, product reviews and basically ‘all things home’.
