Dreaming of Duvets and Decor!

I recently returned from travelling with an ignition of inspiration for bedroom decor. I found some incredible bargains that now need a place in our home to live; the bedroom! With new purchases and fresh ideas in mind, I have been searching for my complete bedroom decor wish-list!

Click the headings below to go straight to each item!

DUVET

The bedroom really is all about the bed - It's the focal point of the room and really the whole point of the room too; so a duvet you feel relaxed in, is a must! This duvet cover pictured above is from Yorkshire Linen and I absolutely love it! It adds a vibrant splash of colour and fun whilst still looking elegant, non-fussy and just a peaceful place to curl up into. Yorkshire Linen have a whole range of different gorgeous duvet covers at seriously affordable prices, go check them out here!

VASE

All bedrooms need flowers! At least, all our bedrooms do! There's something about flowers that just bring peace to a room - they don't even have to be real, artificial flowers work wonders too! This grey quilted vase from Not On The High Street is simple but perfect for adding some plant life to the room; go find it here!

COTTON FAIRY LIGHTS

If you read my previous post, you'll already know I have in fact already made a purchase of these! Fairy lights are great anyway, but fun, funky yellow cotton balls? I think every room needs them! Find similar lights right here.

MIRROR

I love these star-bursting mirrors, they're a great way to combine art into the room and as well as making a fantastic feature! I love the simplicity of this one and the slightly varying shades of grey. I think this piece definitely adds some luxury to the room! This was another great find from Not On The High Street - go view it here.

LIGHTING

I had a ceiling light that would have worked wonders in this room, but sadly I had to leave behind when we sold our last home. However this one from John Lewis is a pretty darn good replacement! I can imagine this would look seriously gorgeous in the dark with its beautiful candle-like effect. Click here to see more from this light!

WALL PRINTS

These prints are a bit of fun and add a bit of personality to the room, plus the colours work great with the scheme too! I have a thing for word-prints.. they just make me smile :) This brilliant find on Etsy can be found here.
