January Bargains!

Good Evening! I have returned! It's been a while, I know. You see, not only have I been busy, (Christmas, New Year, Birthday, what a week!) I have also been ill, (enter violins) and most importantly, I have been laptop-less. My laptop is now well and truly dead.. Hence my inactivities. The laptop had actually been playing up for the better part of a year, so it wasn't totally unexpected when it finally died.. And thankfully I had already backed it up, so I guess it wasn't too much of a lost. But this brings me to my first January bargain; a new iMac!

OK, so probably not quite a 'bargain' per-say, but it's just delicious. Can you use that word to describe an iMac? I've always wanted one, so I figured now was the time. I opted for a model with the larger 1TB hard drive as I'm a photo-taking maniac, but also, this particular model is currently on offer in John Lewis with a healthy £100 off, making it a reasonably cheaper £899. Perfect-o, welcome to my life, iMac. I'm still really new to it, so lots to figure out.. but so far, I am in love!

Also from John Lewis, I recently purchased this Nespresso coffee machine. I was given a few vouchers for my birthday and also a bit of cash, so this didn't actually cost me a penny. On sale at £149, it's one of the pricier models, but it does come with the milk frother, and I personally prefer the look of this model in comparison to some of the others. This is actually going to live in our bedroom (a bit weird, I know) and used as a luxury lazy-morning coffee. (So that's every morning then!) This machine basically gives you that coffee-shop standard coffee. Pretty darn tasty!

For the garden.. a purchase that I have been trying to find for the last few months - a lawnmower! We finally have a lawnmower! This one was half-price, reduced from £100 to £49 from Argos. I actually reserved it online to collect the next day, and when I got there it had been put back up to full price! Thankfully they honoured the price I had reserved it at, so this was a very lucky purchase, made just in time. I'm yet to use it, but super excited to get mowing!

Last, but by no means least, is this rather amazingly comfy super awesome giant bean bag! This is quite possibly the comfiest thing I have sat on in a looong time. On offer from made.com for £49, this acts as extra seating in our lounge at the moment.. But really it's one of those things that could make its way around different rooms in the house. I even think we may make a second purchase later in the year they're that darn good! Our sofa may have become redundant..

And that's it! Just a few new homey items to fill this rather empty house!
