'Ideal Home' Magazine Review

Last week I went on a grocery shop and I had the sudden urge to go down the magazine isle and have a peruse. I haven't bought a magazine since I was a kid, I used to be a repeat customer to the 'Sabrina the teenage witch' series (high five if you were a reader too!) and as that subscription ended, so did my magazine reading days.

Since living at Grants parents and having lack of home-y things to do, I felt I needed to satisfy my DIY deprived needs in other ways - and what better than a home mag? Having previously gone to the Ideal Home Show earlier this year, I thought it only fair that I gave the Ideal Home Magazine a try. Especially as itt claims to be Britain's best selling home magazine. At the whopping price of £3.60(!) I have to say I did think about swapping it for a cheaper magazine. But actually I decided to bite the bullet and not be such a tight-arse and 'risk it for a biscuit' as we used to say.

A few days on and I'm so glad I did! It's given me heaps of ideas for the new place, has opened my eyes to new home-decor shops and brands I'd never heard of, and all in all, it's just a really good read! From stories of unique renovations to simple decor advice, there's a bit for everyone, whatever kind of style you're into. I especially like the 'Ideal Vs Great Deal' sections that show you two similar items at two very different prices, so you know where to look if you're after that item on a budget. That's definitely me. The rooms featured will give you heaps of inspiration and ideas that you would never have thought of too - In fact I enjoyed it so much I bought myself a 12-month subscription from MagazineDirect.com - Not only was it 50% off retail price at an awesome £1.80 per issue, but this price also includes free delivery to your door! I'm already excited about receiving the next issue!
