I saw these were trending last Easter but never got 'round to jumping on the bandwagon. Seeing as though creme eggs are only sold for a few months a year, I've waited almost a whole year to make one of these. But it was definitely well worth the wait!

OK So I admit here - I didn't have enough icing sugar! Which I only realised after having mixed the butter and golden syrup... :/ Whoopsie. So it did end up a little sloppy. But still tasted good :)
NOM. I thoroughly recommend this recipe! Even though my creme part turned out a little runny.. my own fault for not checking I had necessary measurements!
